MUSICIAN

In my time at the University of North Dakota, I taught in the Theatre department rather than the Music department.  It was amazing to dive into a realm that brought a very unique perspective on stage performance apart from the opera world.  I audited acting classes alongside my students, team-taught Musical Theatre Acting, and absorbed as much as I could in my collaborations as music director.  I took those experiences and my previous opera training with me when I began stage directing at the College of Saint Rose.  As a director, I endeavor to give performers a balance of guidance, vision, and artistic license to create an authentic, holistic experience for those both on and off stage.
